Paint and sip
Ku-ring-gai and Chatswood Youth Centres welcomed young people aged 12 – 24 for an afternoon of (non alcoholic) refreshments and live group painting! Through the powers of Zoom they shared screens, got creative and painted together while enjoying great virtual company and conversation. Check out their creative artworks.

Local history puzzles
Using some wonderful historical photographs from the Ku-ring-gai Library Local History collection we have created a collection of online puzzles that you can access from home via Jigsaw Planet. We’ve created puzzles for range of ages so please take a moment to enjoy a puzzle and help us piece together our local history.
Ku-ring-gai Library has a collection of fascinating interviews from local residents capturing their memories and experiences of Ku-ring-gai’s history. A selection of these interviews are available on Amplify through the State Library of NSW. Amplify allows members of the community to assist in the transcription of oral history interviews online.
We are looking for volunteers who would like to assist with transcribing these interviews from home. To get started please follow the links below. Contact Local History staff if you have any questions.
