Meals on Wheels
 

The Village Chef

The Village Chef, formerly known as Ku-ring-gai and Hornsby Meals on Wheels delivers meals to older Australians to support them to live independently in their own homes. Their team of friendly volunteers deliver healthy and nutritious, freshly made meals to clients at home and check in at the same time to have a chat and see how they are. The Village Chef offers more than just a meal.

Easy Care Gardening volunteers

Easy Care Gardening

Easy Care Gardening unites volunteers with older people in our community to provide gardening assistance, helping them to remain living independently in their own homes.

HK Community Transport
 

Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Community Transport

HKCT provides clean, safe and reliable transport for eligible seniors, building local communities by enabling participation in community life and interaction in activities. HKCT gets older Australians to where they need or want to be. Its transport services include shopping shuttles, outings and medical transport.

Lifeline

Lifeline

Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury provide social support for frail aged people 65 years or older. The volunteers form part of the Community Services team and provide a variety of services for older clients eg. transport to appointments, companionship visits, accompanied shopping, or social phone calls.

Neighbourhood Centre

Ku-ring-gai Neighbourhood Centre

KNC Community Care provides social support services for older residents of the Northern Sydney region to help them maintain their independence and remain living in their own homes. KNC through its Community Care Program provides help with shopping and transport to essential medical and other appointments for the elderly and disabled residents of Sydney North.
