Queen's Memorial public holiday opening hours

The Queen's Memorial public holiday is on Thursday 22 September and as a result many Council services and facilities will not operate.

Waste services and collections will continue as normal.

The customer service centre will be closed. During this time Council can be contacted via our after-hours call centre for urgent matters.

Closed facilities

  • Council Chambers and customer service centre, 818 Pacific Highway Gordon
  • Council offices and workplaces
  • Ku-ring-gai Library branches in Gordon, Lindfield, St Ives and Turramurra
  • Ku-ring-gai Art Centre

 Open facilities 

  • Gordon Golf Course:  public holiday rates
  • North Turramurra Golf Course: public holiday rates
  • Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden: open to visitors, though previously scheduled programs are postponed
  • Ku-ring-gai Fitness and Aquatic Centre: will operate 7am - 6pm.
