Australia Day 2022
Ku-ring-gai residents are invited to celebrate Australia Day with a free outdoor movie screening of Oddball, a family movie about an eccentric chicken farmer, with the help of his granddaughter, trains his mischievous dog Oddball to protect a penguin sanctuary from fox attacks in an attempt to reunite his family and save their seaside town.
Pack a picnic or choose some delicious street food from a selection of food trucks.
Gates open at 5.30pm with pre movie entertainment from 6pm where you will be entertained by The Freeman Dancers including a Welcome to Country, Didgeridoo performance & Smoking ceremony, then from 6.50pm local duo Jess & Matt will hit the stage for a hour performing all your Australian favourites with movie commencing at 8.15pm.
Tickets are limited so bookings are essential.

What chairs am I allowed to bring? For the viewing pleasure of others, only low lying chairs, bean bags and picnic rugs are permitted. If you do bring your camp chairs you will be directed to the back area.
Can I bring my dog to the event? Yes, dogs are permitted and must be on a lead at all times.
Can I bring my own food and drinks? You are most welcome to BYO food and non-alcoholic drinks, or enjoy something from our onsite food trucks and onsite bar. Please note, this is a glass free event.

Can I smoke at the event? No smoking or vaping allowed at event.
What if it rains? In the event that that the cinema is cancelled due to bad weather, ticketholders will receive communication via the event webpage, facebook and email prior to the event commencing.
