Join us as we celebrate Ku-ring-gai’s cultural diversity.

The festival will include a vibrant display of music and dance performances, interactive demonstrations and an exciting variety of stalls featuring cultural wares and culinary delights from all over the world. Community groups will be involved on the day sharing their cultures and heritage that is such a valuable part of the Ku-ring-gai community.

When:  Sunday 23 March 10am - 3pm.

Where: St Ives Showground, 450 Mona Vale Road St Ives.

Applications are now open to participate in the Festival

Have you ever wanted to share your cultural heritage? Be a part of Ku-ring-gai's Multicultural Festival and showcase your culture as a stallholder or performer. Being part of the festival is a great way to engage and celebrate your culture. Applications will close Sunday 15 December.

Food vendor applications

Food vendor applications are open to food business who offer different food from around the world. A wide selection of cultural food vendors will also be selected to give visitors the chance to experience traditional cuisine and desserts.

Market stall applications

Applications are open to business that offer unique cultural wares. Includes community or commercial business operators (including sole traders) who specialise in selling quality boutique or specialty items that are appropriate to be sold at family friendly events to a diverse audience.

Items like arts, crafts, instruments, jewellery, clothing, Henna, homewares, prepackaged food (not prepared on site) etc.

Community stall information

Applications are open to community organisations, registered charities, and not-for-profit organisations. Organisations may use this stall for sharing of information and / or educational purposes and must be of an A-political nature.

The sale of any products is not permitted. Applicants under this category must include information within their application of the benefit and value to the stall’s inclusion at the Festival.

Community performer applications

Applications open to organisations/schools that can provide a 15 minute performance on the main festival stage.

Performances can be music, dance or song. Please note these applications are for community groups and are not paid performances.
