Cameron Park will come alive for the annual Sustainable Futures Day! Bring friends and family for a FREE, fun day out showcasing healthy, sustainable and low-cost lifestyles.

Electric vehicle and bike display

  • Chat to local EV owners and explore their cars on display. 
  • Lug + Carrie will have their cargo bikes on display.
  • Bike North chatting all things cycling and active transport.

Waste-less under the big marquee

Cooking workshop 10.30-11.15am

Local chef and educator Rachel Potter will create delicious meals using an induction cooktop. Taste-testing encouraged!

Simple recipes for toxic-free, low-cost laundry liquid, dishwashing powder and everyday household items. Take a sample home.

Stencil print your own bag! 1-3pm 

The friendly crew from Ku-ring-gai Boomerang Bags will help you custom print on one of their hand-made tote bags to take home and ditch the plastic bags.

Teen clothing swap

Run by teens, for teens...Raid your wardrobe and bring pre-loved clothes in good condition to exchange for new-to-you items.

Clothes swapping is a clever and thrifty way to refresh your wardrobe, save money and help fight textile waste.

Friendly, welcoming event run by local youth-run volunteer group Youth4Difference.

DIY craft activity tables

Drop in and have a go at one of the craft activities including natural fibre weaving, friendship bracelets and more. All ages.

Eat & drink

Local restaurant Kiplings Garage Bar will be providing delicious food and drinks all day.

Meet our Net Zero Champions

Our hard-working Net Zero Champion volunteers and local community groups are hosting our stalls on the day. You can even become one yourself!

Hosted by Ku-ring-gai Council and supported by the Environmental Levy and Net Zero Ku-ring-gai.
