Council is upgrading the playground at Comenarra playing fields in Turramurra. To assist in planning the upgrade we are seeking community feedback on the park via an online survey, the results of which will be used to develop a concept plan which will be subject to further community consultation.
Our goal for the upgrade is to create an attractive, engaging and inclusive community place for everyone to enjoy. It will be a place to meet, play and relax that enhances the local neighbourhood and growing residential community.
Community input
Council is undertaking a 2 phase process of community engagement to ensure the new design meets the needs and expectations of the local community.
Phase 1 - Ideas gathering (August 2023) LIVE
Seeking community input about the existing playground, how it is used and gathering ideas for the future upgrade. The outcome will inform development of the concept design.
Phase 2 - Consulting on the concept plan (late 2023 / early 2024)
The concept plan, developed using feedback from Phase 1 engagement will be exhibited for public comment.
