Gordon Youth Hub
Open during school terms, Gordon Youth Hub provides a free recreation and referral service for all young people aged 12 to 18 years.
Location: Old school building next to Gordon Library, 799 Pacific Highway, Gordon.
Open: Thursday 3pm to 6pm.
Facilities & equipment: Foosball, table tennis, Nintendo switch, computers, music, TVs and Netflix.
St Ives Youth Hub
Open during school terms, St Ives Youth Hub provides a free recreation and referral service for all young people aged 12 to 18 years.
Location: 6 Memorial Avenue, St Ives (opposite St Ives Shopping Village, next to St Ives skate park).
Open: Tuesday to Thursday 3pm - 6pm and Friday 3pm - 8pm.
Facilities & equipment: Pool table, table tennis, foosball, X Box, Nintendo Switch, Kitchen, TV and Netflix.

Gordon and St Ives Youth Hubs are staffed by Council Youth workers.
Meet our team
Ryan Usher - Youth Services Coordinator
Ryan has 10 years experience supporting young people throughout the Sydney region. With a Bachelor of Human Science: Major in Public Health, Ryan works with young people to understand their challenges, highlight their strengths and help build the next generation. Ryan has deep knowledge of local school systems, having worked on school programs for Cricket NSW, and has also worked with young people extensively on physical and mental wellbeing through his time at headspace Chatswood. Ryan understands the value of early intervention, evidence based approaches, and working directly with young people to ensure outcomes are reflective of their wishes. When Ryan is not working, he enjoys sport, loves a good coffee and spending time at local parks/ reserves with his family.

Jin Cheng - Youth Development Officer
Jin graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Sydney in 2019. She is passionate about helping young people thrive and has extensive experience working with youth from diverse backgrounds. Jin has successfully planned and led numerous school cultural programs and workshops, demonstrating her ability to create engaging and safe spaces for young people.
She is excited to bring her vibrant enthusiasm and dedication to the Youth Services team. Jin speaks fluent Mandarin and has lived in China, Singapore, and Australia. In her free time, she enjoys participating in various sports and outdoor adventures.

Simone Kollias - Youth Development Officer
Simone has over five years’ experience across disability services, community engagement, and service navigation. With a Social Science and Criminology degree from Macquarie University, she supports young people to understand their needs, build confidence, and access the right pathways. She is passionate about addressing social inequality and applying place‑based, evidence‑informed approaches that empower individuals and strengthen communities. Simone values inclusive practices and helping others navigate complex systems with clarity and confidence. Outside of work, she enjoys sport, music, and spending time with friends and family.
