AWOL Youth Hub is back in operation
Young people are required to wear masks indoors and observe social distancing. COVID safe check in will be required before entering.
AWOL Youth Hub
Location: Old school building next to Gordon Library, 799 Pacific Highway, Gordon
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 3pm to 6pm.
Facilities & equipment: Foosball, table tennis (subject to availability), PS4, WII, Nintendo switch, computers; DVDs, music, iPod cables for stereo, TVs.
St Ives Youth Hub
Closed for refurbishment, new youth hub coming soon!
Location: Off Memorial Avenue, St Ives (behind St Ives Shopping Village).
Facilities & equipment: Music recording and production studio, PA system, PS3 & PS4, Foosball, skate park, movies.

Cherise Ricciardo - Youth Services Coordinator
Cherise Ricciardo completed her studies in 2012. Starting her Youth Work career in Western Australia, Cherise has since worked all over NSW, including Lane Cove and Greater Western Sydney. She is excited to now be highlighting and promoting the voice of young people in Northern Sydney. Skilled in staff supervision, project management, facilitation and consultation, she is dedicated and passionate about building stronger communities.
Away from work, Cherise likes spending time with her husband and drinking good coffee!

Emma Tysoe - Youth Development Officer
Emma Tysoe has a Certificate IV and Diploma in community services as well as her bachelor degree in social science/social welfare. Emma is passionate about working and enriching the lives of young people in Ku-ring-gai. She enjoys programming and engaging with young people through outreach and in centre activities.
In her spare time, Emma enjoys the company of her family, husband, daughter and friends. Her favourite activities include gardening, cooking and going on new adventures.

Lily Giles - Youth Development Officer
Lily completed her studies in Social Policy in 2019. She has a passion for community engagement and was selected by the University of Sydney to undergo research projects in both Indonesia and the Tiwi Islands, Australia. With experience in stakeholder engagement, project management and consultation, she is passionate about creating more connected and resilient communities.
Lily is excited to bring a youthful and dedicated spirit to the Youth Services team. Outside of work, Lily enjoys exploring the arts scene in Sydney and spending time with friends and family.
