Implementation Programs

Implementation-program

Council has established several programs to deliver new or upgraded community infrastructure (such as parks, playgrounds, shopping precinct improvements) that are funded or co-funded by development contributions. These programs are linked to strategies, master plans or other guiding documents which are prepared by Council to ensure timely and coordinated delivery.

The Ku-ring-gai Contributions Plan 2010 typically applies to large developments such as apartment buildings that occur in and around the Local Centres along the Pacific Highway and Mona Vale Road. Read more about Council’s s7.11 Contributions Plan.

The Ku-ring-gai s7.12 Local Levy Contributions Plan typically applies to small-scale development such as alterations and additions to homes, as well as ‘knock-down rebuilds’. The plan levies contributions as a percentage of the cost of the development. Read more about Council’s s7.12 Contributions Plan.
