From 1 July 2025, the new Support at Home program will replace the existing home care system. 

Council’s Aged Care Services will update the information soon to help you understand the new Australia’s aged care system.

We hope to help you understand some basic steps and the structure of My Aged Care. You do not need to know numerous details of all services in the aged care system if you have just started to engage with government subsidised aged care services. As your care needs become more complex or if you have a better understanding of the process, you may consider looking at more details.
