A total fire ban is in place for 10 January and walking tracks, fire trails and mountain biking trails are closed in bushland areas.
The Norman Griffiths Oval is currently undergoing a major upgrade.
Council is currently making plans to upgrade the playground at Sequoia Close Park in West Pymble.
