Goalposts - extended installation during lockdown

Council has decided to temporarily reinstall football and rugby goalposts at some sportsfields in response to the extended lockdown and the delay in the commencement of the cricket season. This decision will be periodically reviewed. View goalpost locations

Playgrounds

A decision was made to reopen all playgrounds from Friday 20 August.

The decision has taken into consideration the number of active COVID cases in Ku-ring-gai, the high level of vaccination in northern Sydney, the number of people using playgrounds and current exercise and recreation requirements under the health orders.

This decision may be reviewed if there are changes to the health orders or advice from local police in relation to specific locations and social gathering.
