Ku-ring-gai has four Library branches: Gordon, Turramurra, Lindfield and St Ives.

Gordon Library

About Gordon Library

As the main branch of Ku-ring-gai Library, Gordon is the largest of our four libraries.

We have a dedicated children’s area, private study rooms and free Wi-Fi.

Our Local History section is also located at Gordon Library. We also have an extensive Chinese language section as well as books in other foreign languages from the State Library.

Reservations

Reservations placed through the Library catalogue and will be held for collection at your local branch.

Returns and loan periods

Our out-of-hours return chutes are open 24/7. You can return items any time. See information about loan periods and more on our FAQs page.

Storytime

Storytime is back! Check when the next Storytime is happening at your local branch. 

Safety in the library

Our COVID-Safe processes follow public health orders. We have sanitising stations available and regularly clean all surfaces. Please support our staff by socially distancing where possible, and wearing a mask if you cannot socially distance. Please continue to use the sanitising stations available to you.

Room bookings

Study rooms can be booked through our website. Rooms can be booked for a two hour period each day.

Book clubs and groups

Book clubs can now access book boxes. Clubs may also resume use of the library space, but must adhere to social distancing where possible.
