Libraribus and home library

Do you, or someone you know, have difficulty getting to the Library?

Ku-ring-gai provides a FREE bus and home delivery service to residents who are unable to visit the Library independently.

Libraribus

Temporarily suspended.

If you have a disability, don’t have a car or licence, or live too far away from public transport, we are here to help.

Our Libraribus and friendly driver can offer you free door-to-door transport to Gordon, St Ives or Turramurra Library where you can browse the collection of fiction and non-fiction books in regular and large print, audiobooks, music CDs, DVDs and magazines. There is free internet access and daily newspapers for use in the Library.

Our staff can assist with information about places to visit, events in Ku-ring-gai, courses and lectures, clubs and meetings and Council services.

Home Library Service

For older residents or residents who are permanently or temporarily struggling with mobility, we are able to deliver library items directly to you at home on a fortnightly or monthly basis.

After an initial consultation with staff, we will select items for you based on your preferences.

You can receive up to 30 items from a wide range of regular and large print books, audiobooks, music, films, television series, documentaries and magazines.

If you have a tablet or ereader, we can help you browse and download ebooks from our online databases.
