Nominate Your Business for the 2026 Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Local Business Awards

Ku-ring-gai Council is proud to be a long-standing major sponsor of the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Local Business Awards, and is committed to celebrating and promoting local business success.

The Local Business Awards recognise the achievements and dedication of outstanding local businesses and individuals who contribute to the growth of their community.

How to participate

Businesses can self-nominate via thebusinessawards.com.au. Once nominated, the community can vote for your business from 13 April to 12 May 2026. Businesses with the most votes in each category will be selected as finalists. All finalists will be invited to attend the Awards Presentation Evening at Hornsby RSL Club on Monday 13 July 2026.

Exposure and benefits for participants

This year Council is pleased to offer additional promotion for all participants and winners.

All finalists will:

  • Be listed on Council's website.
  • Be promoted across Council's social media channels, including Facebook and LinkedIn.
  • Feature in Council's e-newsletter, which reaches over 40,000 subscribers.

Awards winners will also receive:

  • A dedicated profile featured on Council's website.
  • Dedicated promotion across Council's social media channels following the awards ceremony.
  • A feature in Council's e-newsletter to over 40,000 subscribers.
  • A 'Vote for Us' QR code poster to display and share with customers (via thebusinessawards.com.au).
  • Local media coverage as a recognised award winner.
