Council is upgrading the playground at Sequoia Close Park in West Pymble.
In 2021 we undertook the first phase of community consultation which was used to inform development of a concept plan for the upgrade. Community feedback is now being gathered on the concept before it is adopted and construction begins.
The park is well vegetated with a mix of native and exotic shade trees scattered across broad gently slopping grass areas, providing ample open space for informal ball games. Proposed improvements focus on the creation of a more accessible and inclusive children’s playspace providing both equipment and nature based play opportunities.
