Introduction to bushcare & WH&S workshop

What to expect

A practical course for environmental volunteers who have recently joined a group or those looking to brush up on their knowledge.

You will learn:

• Bush regeneration principles

• Site impacts and the importance of habitat

• Basic plant identification (weeds and natives)

• Overview of weed treatment and disposal techniques

• How to stay safe in the bush 

What to bring

Notepad & pen, keep cup (morning tea will be provided). Please wear closed shoes, outdoor clothes and sun protection.

The workshop on 15 February will be held at Dampier's Clearing, Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden, 420 Mona Vale Road, St Ives NSW 2075
