Cr Simon Lennon

Cr Lennon grew up in Ku-ring-gai and has lived in Gordon since 1997 with his wife Alicia and their six children.

Cr Lennon holds Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Law degrees, a Master of Commerce degree and a Master of Business Administration degree. After studying philosophy in his MBA, Cr Lennon has written short books examining the West. In 2021 Cr Lennon retired from corporate law and now works part time as a consultant.

Cr Lennon has been a Neighbourhood Watch volunteer since 1999 and is a regular attendee at St Johns Church Gordon. He has been a board member of Gordon Community Preschool and between 2013 and 2021 was a parents’ representative on the hiring selection panel at Killara High School.

Cr Lennon was elected to Council in 2021 and has a keen interest in protecting Ku-ring-gai’s quality of life from over development. Cr Lennon has a particular interest in preserving Sydney’s natural spaces, architectural and other cultural heritage. He looks forward to attending performances again at the revived Marian Street Theatre in Killara.
