Amendment to Ku-ring-gai DCP Part 6.1 Terraces

On display until 15 October 2026, 05:00 PM

Council invites comment from the community on the amendment to the Ku-ring-gai Development Control Plan (KDCP) to include objectives and controls for Multi Dwelling Housing (Terraces) and related definitions.

The recent NSW government housing reforms enabled development of Multi Dwelling Housing (Terraces) within the Ku-ring-gai local government area via Chapter 6 of the State Environmental Planning Policy (Housing) 2021.

This KDCP amendment seeks to ensure terraced housing is delivered to a high standard, and integrates into the Ku-ring-gai character of built form within a landscaped setting including canopy trees.

The KDCP amendment is on public exhibition from Friday 18 September 2026 to Thursday 15 October 2026.
