Draft Code of Meeting Practice

Council’s Code of Meeting Practice provides a set of meeting rules for accessible, orderly, effective and efficient meetings. The code is based on the NSW Office of Local Government’s Model Code of Meeting Practice and applies to all meetings of Council, public forums and any committees of council.

Council has recently resolved to amend its Code of Meeting Practice to allow for public forums to be recorded and webcast and for speakers to address Council via audio-visual link.
