Lambert’s Clearing Picnic Area
Lambert’s Clearing is an open grassy space with picnic tables, sheltered seating, toilets and children’s play equipment. Swamp Wallabies often visit here. The Knoll Native Garden and the fern house contain specimens of a variety of native Australian plants. Lambert’s Clearing can be accessed from a number of walking tracks. The closest vehicle access is the lower carpark, a 150m walk via the Solander Trail.

Dampier’s Clearing Picnic Area
Adjoining the Senses Track at the top of the garden, Dampier’s Clearing features a large picnic shelter and an electric barbeque. This area is secluded, offering easy level access along a paved walking path.

Bidwill’s Clearing Picnic Area
At the start of the Smith Track, Bidwill’s Clearing is a small grassed area crossed by an intermittent stream. It is easily accessible from the adjacent carpark at Caley’s Pavilion.
