Dampier's Clearing picnic area is a secluded bush location within the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden. Located across from the Visitor Centre and adjoining the Senses Track, this picnic area is close to parking and easily accessible via a paved pathway. Under the shelter are tables and chairs for 24 people, and additional outdoor picnic seating for 16 people.
Dampier's Clearing picnic shelter and barbecue area are available for hire from 8.30am to 4.30pm daily (excluding Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day) and can be hired with a minimum booking period of 2 hours on weekdays and 3 hours on weekends.
