Soap making

Next date: Saturday, 14 June 2025 | 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Soap making

During this two hour workshop you will get involved in making soap from scratch, with natural oils and herbal extracts using "cold soap making method". Everyone will take home a silicone mould with a bar of soap to cure and will also receive the instructions to help you to make soap at home.

Natural, home-made soap is safe for your skin, and what’s more, it is also very cheap. As you can see, soap making is a skill worth learning.

Please bring rubber gloves and an apron!

This workshop is funded by Ku-ring-gai Council's Environmental Levy

The Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden is one of Sydney's best kept secrets, set across 123 hectares of unique urban bushland and home to two endangered ecological communities as well as 18 threatened species of flora and fauna. The Wildflower Garden is open to the public all year round and has a range of hikes, step-free walking tracks, picnic areas and heritage venue hire as well as a diverse calendar of environmental education programs.
