Cats

A few cat nuisance behaviours are regulated by law:

• Cats making noise.
• Cats causing damage.

If these are happening on a regular basis and the cat owner does nothing to improve the behaviour, you can contact Council.

Please provide us with as much documentation of the problem as possible. Evidence includes witness statements, photos, video footage etc.

Please be aware if there is insufficient evidence of a specific cat displaying this behaviour or if the cat cannot be accurately identified, Council cannot pursue the issue.
