Join Daniel as you discover different communities, geology, volcanic soils and rainforest species at Browns Field.
Unlike most bushland reserves, Browns Field sits within a volcanic diatreme, an ancient geological feature that has nurtured a unique pocket of rainforest. Tucked between two creeks, the reserve supports lush, dense vegetation and several plant species rarely seen elsewhere in the Ku-ring-gai area. As you stroll along the walking track, enjoy striking scenery, towering trees and keep an eye out for the elusive Powerful Owl, one of the reserve’s most iconic residents.
