Do you care for a family member or friend with dementia?
We would love to host you both for an enjoyable day out at the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden, St Ives. We will start with Devonshire tea followed by an easy-going 45 minute walk around the Sculpture Trail. We will then have a delicious light lunch at Caley’s Pavilion, where you can also join in an optional art activity. You will also be able to take a walk along the brand new boardwalk around the lake.
Parking is available at the venue. However, a bus will be available to pick you up from Marion Street Theatre car park, 2 Marian St, Killara at 10am and drop you back at 3pm. Free parking is available here all day. Please arrive 15 minutes early to board the bus.
Program for the day:
- 10am Bus from Marion Street Theatre car park.
- 10.30am Devonshire Tea at Dampier’s Clearing.
- 11:15am Sculpture Trail Walk.
- 12pm Walk to Caley’s Pavilion (about a 5 minute walk downhill, we will be able to ferry some people in our cars if needed).
