Get the job: Hospitality & resume skills

This is a practical workshop designed for young people to develop key employability skills for entry-level roles in hospitality and customer service.

Participants will learn how to write a resume, and apply for a Tax File Number, and practice interview tips. Through hands-on activities like basic food preparation, time management tasks, and customer role play, they’ll also build confidence in communication, teamwork, and prioritising under pressure. This workshop helps young people identify and articulate transferable skills they can use when applying for jobs like kitchen hands, waitstaff, or café assistants.

Open to young people aged 12–24. Registration required.
