Intergenerational kitchen: learn & roll together
Next date: Wednesday, 09 July 2025 | 11:30 AM
to 02:00 PM
Join us for a unique workshop that brings generations together through food, learning and leadership!
In the first 60 minutes, young people will take part in a leadership and facilitation skills session. They'll learn the basics of planning and delivering a workshop, build confidence, and develop inclusive facilitation techniques.
In the following 90 minutes, participants will put their skills into practice by facilitating a DIY healthy rice paper roll activity for older community members. Together, everyone will prepare, roll, and enjoy a nutritious lunch—sharing stories and connection across generations.
This workshop:
- Builds real-life leadership and facilitation skills.
- Encourages intergenerational connection and community learning.
- Promotes healthy, hands-on fun in a welcoming environment.
Open to young people aged 12–24. Registration required. All materials and lunch provided.
