Ku-ring-gai Library offers downloadable eBooks and audiobooks with BorrowBox, CloudLibrary, RB Digital and Wheelers ePlatform; digital magazines; downloadable music with Freegal; and streaming documentaries and indie feature films with Kanopy and Beamafilm. Explore now with your library card.

You must be a member of the library to access the eLibrary. You can sign up online and receive a temporary membership number. Temporary membership will allow you to access online services but is only available for three months at which you need to come into a branch with your ID to finalise your membership.

Our most recent platform, CloudLibrary, has a great choice of fiction and non-fiction ebook titles from Australia, the UK and the US.

It also has a fantastic selection of books for children and teenagers including the entire Harry Potter collection in ebook and audiobook.

Welcome to Libby

RB Digital has moved to the Libby app

Audiobooks, magazines, ebooks and comics have moved to the Libby app.

  • Access to Libby will be using your Library card number and password.
  • Current checkouts will be available in RBdigital through the remainder of their lending periods.
  • Holds will not be moved to Libby. You will need to place any holds again in Libby. (If you want a record of your holds, you can export your transaction history from RBdigital websites under My Account - Profiles).
  • Checkout history will not be moved to Libby. However, you will be able to mark titles you've already read using tags in Libby. If you want a record of your RBdigital checkout history, you can export your transaction history from RBdigital website. The RBdigital portal has this same message and a link to FAQs.

Online HSC resources

Ku-ring-gai library provides access to online HSC resources through our online databases.

You must be a member of the library to access these databases. You can sign up online and receive a temporary membership number. Once you have your number, you can search the online databases for Higher School Certificate resources.
