Dress for Success - women’s apparel collection
Help change a woman’s life with the gift of confidence
Ku-ring-gai Council is proud to partner with Dress for Success Sydney, a charity that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing support, professional attire, and development tools. By donating high-quality, work-appropriate clothing and accessories, you can help women feel confident, prepared and inspired to take charge of their futures.
What can I donate?
Think about whether your donation would work for:
- A job interview; or
- current workplace attire (corporate, smart casual, or trades).
Ask yourself: Would I wear this to work, for an interview, or to feel confident and special? Would I give this to a friend? Is it current or a timeless classic?
If the answer is yes, please consider donating. Dress for Success ensures every item is given with the dignity, love, and respect their clients deserve.
Items in greatest need
Please donate items that are clean, in good condition and workplace-appropriate:
- Handbags - structured, professional styles.
- Shoes - flats, low heels, work shoes, boots (good condition).
- Interview and workwear - suits, blazers, trousers, skirts, blouses and dresses.
- Coats and outerwear - practical, seasonal jackets or coats.
- Accessories - belts, scarves, jewellery (good condition).
- New underwear and toiletries - unopened, original packaging.
Why this matters
Dress for Success supports women navigating vulnerable life stages, from preparing for interviews to re-entering the workforce.
