Council is seeking community feedback on the Draft s7.12 Local Levy Contributions Plan 2022. This local levy plan permits Council to levy up to 1% of the cost of certain types of development towards the cost of providing local infrastructure.
The document on exhibition is a review of the Ku-ring-gai s94A Contributions Plan 2015.
The review includes updated legislative references following the restructuring of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 and a revised Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2021. The works programme has also been reviewed, re-costed and updated.
The draft revised contributions plan will be on exhibition from Friday 3 February to Friday 3 March 2023.

Supporting information
The contributions plan intends to provide the major proportion of the funding strategy for the Play Space Strategy and the delivery of the Neighbourhood Centres Improvements programmes. Reference to these strategies (which the funding under this plan will help to deliver) will provide additional context.
The draft revised contributions plan also draws on research undertaken for the Community Strategic Plan.
