Council is upgrading Ibbitson Park in Lindfield. Using feedback from community consultation undertaken in 2023 we have developed a concept plan and are now seeking further community feedback to ensure it meets local needs and expectations.
Our goal for the upgrade is to create an attractive, engaging and inclusive community place for everyone to enjoy. It will be a place to meet, play and relax that enhances the local neighbourhood and growing residential community. Results from the initial community consultation guided key elements of the concept plan. The project will be implemented in two stages:
- Stage 1 improvements include new paths, upgraded fencing, picnic areas, accessible parking, expanded green spaces, playground and a children's bike track.
- Stage 2 will bring additional pathways, expanded green space through driveway realignment, strategic tree management to create a green corridor along Wolseley Road, and more planted areas.
