Council has developed a draft landscape masterplan for The Glade at Wahroonga to guide its future use.
The Glade is a unique park with a multi-use sportsfield including a turf wicket, cricket practice nets, multi-use tennis courts, amenities and a play area bordered by natural bushland. Using community feedback a draft masterplan was developed which was exhibited for public comment in 2022. Feedback on the draft masterplan was broadly supportive. Yet some concerns were raised about lighting elements for the sports field outlined in the plan.
We are now inviting further comments as some concerns were raised about the plan, particularly in relation to the possible installation of field lighting.
