Princes Park / Primula Oval

Enjoy your cricket and soccer at this great facility with synthetic wicket, clubhouse and playground. The oval is also home to the Metropolitan Midweek Dog Training Club.

Council upgraded the sportsfield in 2024. This work included:

Laser levelling of the oval's playing surface, making it more suitable for sports.
Improving drainage under the oval's surface to make the field more easily withstand wet weather.
Installing a new 120KL irrigation tank which collects water from the new drainage system and then pumps this water into sprinklers to care for the playing field - delivering a sustainable approach to water usage.
New boundary fencing.
