North Turramurra Golf Course

About North Turramurra Golf Course
'Royal North Turramurra' as it is affectionately known to locals is a great course where many beginners and school students learn the game. The course enjoys a magnificent outlook onto Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, and is home to over 30 species of native animals and birds. For golfers, it’s a challenging and beautiful course which was extensively remodelled in 2016/17 as part of the North Turramurra Recreation Area project.
At North Turramurra bookings are essential 7 days a week due to the current high demand. Please ring the pro shop on 9144 5110 to reserve a tee time. Resident golf pro James McDonald is also on site to offer tuition to all ages and grades of players, from beginners to advanced.

Proposed changes to golf fees
Council is facing several challenges to ensure our public golf courses retain their high standard.
The Council recently reviewed its fees at North Turramurra and Gordon, comparing them with similar courses in northern Sydney and found that fees were generally lower in Ku-ring-gai.
Council has only increased the main weekend and weekday green fees by up to $3 between 2015/16 to 2022/23.
As a result we are proposing to increase green fees in the 2023-2024 financial year to partially offset increasing costs and continue to maintain both courses to a level desired by our community.
The proposed increase in green fees this year is 25%. The new charge will still be below or comparable with other local public golf courses and ensure both Turramurra and Gordon remain affordable.
The table below shows the predicted loss to Council from subsidising both courses at the current level of fees. Overall a loss of around $700,000 is predicted by 30 June 2023.
