Streamwatch training workshop

Next date: Saturday, 28 February 2026 | 09:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Streamwatch Training

Learn how to collect water quality data and help council better care for our creeks.

As a Streamwatch volunteer, your commitment is approximately 1 hour each month. We encourage regular participation to build confidence with the monitoring process but understand not everyone can make it every month. We aim to have between 6-8 volunteers registered at each site to ensure there are always minimum of 2 people available to do the monitoring. For more info, visit our website: Streamwatch Ku-ring-gai

Please note: training is compulsory before attending a Streamwatch group.

Bring: Drinking water and a snack.

Wear: Outdoor clothing; long sleeved shirt, long trousers and sturdy closed toe footwear, hat and sunglasses.

Bookings are essential as there are limited numbers available.

Please do not attend if you are unwell.

In the event of cancelation due to extreme weather, attendees will be advised at least 24 hours beforehand via email.
