The Operations department’s major functions include:

  • Traffic management.
  • Road, footpath and drainage maintenance.
  • Emergency management.
  • Building maintenance and construction.
  • Park, sportsfield, golf course and playground maintenance.
  • Bushland maintenance and hazard reduction.
  • Tree preservation orders.
  • Swimming pool maintenance.
  • Waste and recycling.
  • Street cleaning.

Director Peter Lichaa

Peter has extensive and broad experience in engineering, operations, asset management, open space, recreational facility management and project management. Peter has held a variety of senior roles within local government over the last three decades and holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, a Master of Business Administration and an Advanced Diploma in WHS.
