Do you have a brilliant business idea but are unsure how to take it to market? Let's turn your business dream into a reality through our new entrepreneurship program.

Whether you have a potential business idea or are looking to scale up your existing venture, we're here to support your business journey! 

The Ku-ring-gai Impact Entrepreneur Program is a partnership with Ku-ring-gai Council and Impact Business School. It’s a six week virtual program that will take place between 11am and 1pm on Wednesdays starting 1 November and finishing on 29 November. The program will wrap up with a face-to-face networking session on 6 December.

Impact Business School Founder Patricia Kaziro has designed a series of innovative masterclasses and will be your instructor over the six week program. The goal is to start and grow a profitable business and create a positive impact in the community.

This initiative is part of Ku-ring-gai Council’s business engagement program, designed to provide support and foster connections within the local business community.

Details

When: Wednesdays, 11am - 1pm starting 1 November finishing 29 November. Face to face closing event 11am - 1 pm on 6 December.

Where: Online and face to face finale session in Gordon.

Cost: $25. The fee will be donated to Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women’s Shelter to empower local women experiencing domestic violence and homelessness to develop life skills and build a self-reliant future.

Module 1 Impact through Business

Explore creating a positive impact on people and the planet through business.

Module 2 Identifying Ideal Customers 

Create an avatar and minimum viable product (MVP) to test your solution and get product-market fit through customer discovery.

Module 3 Brand Storytelling 

Create a go-to-market strategy and brand to launch your product.

Module 4 Impact Business Models 

How to create a profitable, impactful and sustainable business model.

Module 5 Collective Impact through Collaboration

Create business collaborations to reach more people and create collective impact.

Finale Event, 6 December at Ku-ring-gai Council Chambers, 818 Pacific Highway, Gordon

This showcase event will give you an opportunity to share your business concept with other program participants, celebrate your progress and create new connections with other impact-driven entrepreneurs.

Masterclass format

Each masterclass is 2 hours in length and includes an engaging presentation, interactive activities, networking and collaborative opportunities. There is time allocated to develop your own business and you’ll walk away with accountability and takeaways to action between each session to move your business idea forward.
