Weed spraying at sportsfields

Council is starting its selective herbicide spraying Monday 28 August through to Monday 3 September.

Council use the safest possible chemicals for weed control. This year we are using Barricade, Casper and Crest.
All sportsfields that are to be sprayed will be signposted in accordance with Council’s Pesticide Notification Plan(PDF, 447KB).
The area is safe once the chemical has dried on the leaf but we request people and animals keep off the field for the entire day as an extra precaution.
