This creative exhibition of tutors and students features portraits of people and animals using a range of visual art forms.

The exhibition includes a variety of mixed media works, paintings and ceramics relating to the theme of ‘portraits’ and how it captures the essence of the subject as well as a moment in time.

Portraits also kicks off busy exhibition year for the Art Centre and is a wonderful opportunity to experience the diversity in artistic expression taking place at the Centre.

Mayor Sam Ngai says the Ku-ring-gai Art Centre is a hidden gem providing a range of classes for all ages.

“As a child I appreciated my weekly sessions at the Roseville Art Centre and I’m glad to see that these classes remain available to residents today.

Nestled in parkland in Recreation Avenue Roseville, the area also provides a picnic area next to the playground, sculptural works, and a garden library.”
