Philip Mall playground upgrade

Philip Mall playground was completed in June 2023.

Suggestions and ideas from the community were incorporated into the design of the playground.

The result is an attractive and engaging place to meet, play and relax for the local neighbourhood and growing residential community.

  • Improve accessibility throughout the site.
  • Inter-generational play components within the space.
  • Range of passive, imaginative and active play activities.
  • An accessible drinking fountain and seats.
  • An accessible picnic settings with shelter.
  • A mix of rubber softfall and mulch surfacing.
  • Formalised accessible path from existing gate.
  • Nature play area.
