Introduction to printmaking

This one-off taster class gives students the chance to get hands-on with linocut printmaking - a classic relief printmaking technique that involves carving your own design into lino, inking it up and creating expressive prints.

Over the course of the five hours, you'll learn how to safely use printmaking presses, ink and clean-up and printmaking tools. We will experiment with textures and patterns, carve your own design and create a finished print to take home.

No experience needed and perfect for beginners, all materials will be provided so all you need is your creativity!
