Life Drawing

Our life drawing class offers students the opportunity to practice drawing the human figure from life models. Each week you will practice drawing the naked form in a series of poses from quick sketch work to longer, more considered studies. Male and female models change weekly.

Your tutor, Gemma King, will guide you in understanding how to observe form, direction, and movement in your subject. You’ll learn how to use light and shadow to create depth and dimension. Focusing on anatomy, proportion and gesture, the class encourages observation, skill development, and artistic expression. Whether for beginners or advanced artists, this hands-on experience helps improve accuracy, technique, and the understanding of the human form.
