Ride to Live campaign

The NSW Government developed the Ride to Live campaign to get to the heart of what keeps motorcyclists safe: making good decisions.

The campaign gives riders useful information about the risks they face on the road and how they can best manage them.

The Ride to Live website features hazard tests to check your responses to the different risks you face as riders. There are also tips on a wide range of topics, such as braking distances, overtaking, lane filtering and cornering.

They also promote MotoCAP – Motorcycle Clothing Assessment Program, whom independently tests jackets, pants and gloves using rigorous, scientific methods and provides ratings to help choose the right gear with the best protection and comfort.

Ku-ring-gai Council supports the Ride to Live campaign and promotes safer riding, wearing of safe gear and tips for drivers sharing the road with motorcyclists.
