Roseville Park oval upgrade
As part of Council’s capital works program 2023-2024, the sportsfield at Roseville Park Oval in Chelmsford Avenue Lindfield will be upgraded. The oval will be closed from 7 August 2023 to 31 March 2024 while the work takes place.
Work on the irrigation tank will include installation of a new irrigation and turf drainage system, new picket fence, laser grading, turfing and maintenance during the establishment period. The new irrigation tank will harvest water from the sand slit drainage system and deliver sustainable water to the playing field.
The new picket fence will be in keeping with the strong tradition of cricket that has been played at Roseville Park for many years.
Work will commence on the irrigation tank and construction of the sports field will commence from 7 August 2023. The oval will be closed with temporary fencing during the construction works.
The nearest alternative oval for use during the construction works is Lindfield Soldiers Memorial Park, Lindfield or Wellington Oval at East Lindfield.
