Join our annual update looking at our unique school sustainability programs for 2023/24.

We welcome principals, teachers, educators and school representatives to join us and we support you to inspire and educate students about sustainable living, wildlife, plants, waste and more.

Six expert speakers from Ku-ring-gai Council will cover:

  • Native stingless beehives or bee hotel at your school.
  • Science and geography excursions to the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden.
  • Rebates, including rain water tanks and gardens.
  • Bushcare volunteering for high-schoolers participating in the Duke of Edinburgh Award.
  • Extreme weather workshops with Climate Wise Communities 3D hands-on Simtable.
  • Waste: Return & Earn bins and composting/recycling workshops with ‘The Recoverables’ program.

Hosted by staff from the Environment & Sustainability team, Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden and the Waste Services team.
