Emergency Relief Support Grants

We’re inviting community-based organisations providing financial support to Ku-ring-gai residents to apply for Emergency Relief Support Grants.

This is a one-off grant program that aims to support Ku-ring-gai families and individuals experiencing financial hardship, such as low income, unemployment, excessive debt, or inability to afford necessities like food, housing, utilities and medical care.

The grant program demonstrates Council’s commitment to the well-being and social cohesion of our community.

Applications will be for the 2024-2025 financial year.

Applications open 9am Monday 6 May and close at 5pm Friday 31 May 2024.

To apply, organisations must demonstrate the following:

  • They are providing emergency relief to Ku-ring-gai residents experiencing financial hardship.
  • They prioritise assistance to vulnerable populations.
  • They are able to address immediate and urgent need.
